These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of QuillBotAI Pro at www.quillbotai.pro (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require an account, payment, or subscription.

QuillBotAI Pro is an AI text detector. You submit text (or, for the SynthID checker, an image), and the Service returns a statistical assessment of whether the content appears to be AI-generated, along with sentence-level highlights and confidence scores.

The Service is an analysis tool only. It does not write, paraphrase, or rewrite content on your behalf.

No AI detector is 100% accurate, and QuillBotAI Pro does not claim to be. Detection is a statistical estimate, not a determination of fact. Both false positives (human writing flagged as AI) and false negatives (AI writing not flagged) are possible.

Accuracy decreases as text is edited, paraphrased, translated, or processed through “humanizer” tools. Short samples are less reliable than long ones.

Results must not be used as the sole basis for any consequential decision — including academic discipline, employment decisions, contract enforcement, or publication rejection. You are responsible for exercising independent judgment and, where a person may be affected, for giving them a fair opportunity to respond. The Service provides evidence to weigh, not a verdict to act on.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit content you have no legal right to submit, including content that infringes another party's intellectual property or confidentiality rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent rate limits or other technical protections of the Service.
• Access the Service through automated means in a manner that degrades availability for others, or scrape the Service at scale.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying models or detection logic.
• Harass, defame, or unlawfully target any individual using results obtained from the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

You retain all rights to the text and images you submit. We claim no ownership over your content.

Submitted content is processed in volatile memory and is not intentionally retained, logged, or used for model training. For full details, see our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you paste into the Service, particularly third-party or confidential material.

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.

Because no account is required, there is no stored data to lose and nothing to cancel if the Service becomes unavailable.

The Service — including its interface, copy, branding, and underlying implementation — is owned by QuillBotAI Pro and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Service; they do not transfer any ownership.

QuillBotAI Pro (quillbotai.pro) is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to QuillBot (quillbot.com) or its parent company. Any third-party names, trademarks, or product references on this site — including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Llama, Mistral, GPTZero, Turnitin, and Originality.ai — belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification and comparison.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that detection results will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuillBotAI Pro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or reliance on — the Service or its results. This includes decisions made on the basis of a detection score.

Because the Service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to zero.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
