QuillBotAI Pro ("we", "our", or "the Service") operates the website at www.quillbotai.pro, including the AI text detector and SynthID watermark scanner. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Service.

We do not intentionally collect, store, or retain any of the following:

• The text you paste into the AI detector
• Images or videos you upload to the SynthID scanner
• Browser fingerprints or device identifiers
• Cookies or persistent tracking identifiers
• Account credentials (we have no accounts)
• Usage analytics tied to individuals

Note on IP addresses: Your IP address is transmitted as part of every standard HTTP request. We do not log or store it ourselves, but our hosting infrastructure may record it in server-level access logs as described in Section 5.

When you submit text or media for analysis, it is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection directly to our analysis endpoint. The content is loaded into volatile (RAM) memory, analyzed, and the result is returned to your browser. The content is then immediately purged from memory.

We do not intentionally write content to disk, insert it into a database, pass it to a third-party AI model, or retain it in any form after the HTTP response is sent. Our system is designed so that submitted content does not persist beyond the duration of a single request.

QuillBotAI Pro does not use cookies, localStorage tokens, session identifiers, or any client-side tracking technology. We do not integrate third-party analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) or advertising networks.

Our website is hosted on infrastructure provided by third-party cloud providers. As part of normal platform operations, these providers may automatically retain standard server access logs, which can include IP addresses, request timestamps, and HTTP status codes. These logs are generated at the infrastructure level, are outside our direct control, and do not contain the text or media you submit for analysis.

Under GDPR, our hosting provider acts as a data processor on our behalf. We select providers that offer appropriate data processing agreements (DPAs) and operate under standard contractual clauses where applicable. We do not share any data with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for commercial purposes.

Because we do not collect or store personal data, most GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability) are satisfied by default — there is no personal data to retrieve, correct, or delete. If you have a concern, you may contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

The legal basis for processing submitted content is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing necessary to perform a service requested by the user). No consent for marketing or profiling is required or sought.

We do not sell, share, or disclose personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected — in our case, none beyond what your browser sends in a standard HTTPS request header (which we do not log or retain).

QuillBotAI Pro is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors under the age of 16 (or 13 where local law permits a lower threshold, such as under COPPA in the United States). If you believe a child has used our Service in a manner that requires privacy protection, please contact us.

All data in transit is protected by TLS 1.2 or higher. Our zero-retention architecture means we do not store submitted content, minimizing breach exposure. We follow industry-standard practices for server hardening and access control.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
